Marla Leggette is the Douglas County Garden Club recipient of the
2024 Lyn Verretta Heart Warmer Award.

Marla is a dedicated gardener whose love of plants and
community truly sets her apart. Her attention to detail and organizational
skills have contributed to the club’s fundraising efforts and projects that not
only benefit the Douglas County Garden Club, but our community.

Her green thumb is matched only by her kind and generous heart, as she
continuously seeks ways to enhance the club, support its members, and
contribute to our community service.
